Glacier

I love this photo, taken at one of the glaciers in Switzerland. So much stunning scenery! In the time we were away I took over 5000 photos!!!!! It was a job picking my favourites because there are so many!

Croatia

This is one of the photos I took in Buzet Old Town in Croatia last summer. The heat was excruciating at 38degrees!! We had a great time there, met some wonderful people. I have loads of photos to scrapbook now, but I would need to start the ones from the year before first!!!!! :) watch this space!!

Simple wee card

Well, it looks like I have done something daft and the photo hasn't appeared! I think I'm going to have to go back to the laptop and forget hubby's iPad! He will be pleased to hear that!!!

Hi there, hope you're having a Happy New Year! A week of 2012 gone already! I decided today would be a day for messing as the classes don't start again until next week. I needed a wee break from tidying and sorting, so this is my finished product. I absolutely love distress stains and of course the distress ink too.
I decided to go for a different colour scheme from my normal choice and I am so happy with the result.
The caged bird is die cut out of Grungepaper and coloured with walnut stain distress ink, the square background is a white 6 x 6 board book cover, stained with wild honey and various inks. A mix of stamp sets created the bakground patterns. All in all it was great fun.

Happy Christmas

Well, it's hard to believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve!!! I have been busy this week getting sorted for moving.  It's amazing how much junk that gathers up!  After Christmas I will get back into the creative mode again and will share a few of the things I have made (I can't now 'cos they have to be delivered!).
I'd like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a wonderful new year

From the beginning of January 2012 I will be moving in to the main building at Garden World. Same great shop, same staff, just a slight change in location (only a few yards!!) Looking forward to the move, except the hard work packing and unpacking! Hope to see you soon!
