bring out my bigz dies again as they haven't been used in a while. I have had such fun doing this canvas (which was a cheapy). Only one thing annoyed me though, the fact that when staining the pure white canvas to an old paper colour I scrubbed the top off my stain dabber :( oh well, I still enjoyed myself!

Distressed Canvas elements

Distressed Canvas
New family members!!
We have 6 new members to our family! The cute little chicks hatched out yesterday. They are so cute but we aren't allowed too close as mama hen is a bit crabby!!! She pecks at us and believe me it hurts! Don't want to mess with her!
What a lovely sight to see all the narcissi and daffodils swaying about in the flowerbeds this afternoon. The birds were all singing and it seems as though spring is here.
Layouts for scrapbooking class in Doodle Craft
These 2 layouts were for last weeks scrapbooking class. I used a mix of papers, there's Echo Park, Basic Grey, Bazzill Basics and Co'redinations. Card candy adds finishing touches, and the journalling is written around the edges in white Opaque pen from Ranger.
I have so many photos at the moment that I really will have to start to scrapbook them a bit more regularly. There doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day at the moment to do all that I want to do.
Meeting Tim!!
Just home from Birmingham, extremely tired with sore feet! Had a great time chatting to suppliers and meeting new people! I really enjoyed watching the very talented demonstrators doing their thing and making it all look so easy. Rhonda and myself got the chance to talk to Tim and get our photos taken with him, after watching him demonstrate the brand new Distress Markers. We even got one of his creations signed by himself!
Wedding wall hanging
This 6x6 wall hanging is made using BoBunny Enchanted paper, some gems, a bit of mirri card and a quote from the Enchanted card stock stickers set. I have decided to enter it in the Creative Craft World challenge and also the Incy Wincy Designs challenge. I made it today as an alternative to a card.... Sometimes it's nice to do something different for a change. Hope you like it :)

Simple wee card
Well, it looks like I have done something daft and the photo hasn't appeared! I think I'm going to have to go back to the laptop and forget hubby's iPad! He will be pleased to hear that!!!
Hi there, hope you're having a Happy New Year! A week of 2012 gone already! I decided today would be a day for messing as the classes don't start again until next week. I needed a wee break from tidying and sorting, so this is my finished product. I absolutely love distress stains and of course the distress ink too.
I decided to go for a different colour scheme from my normal choice and I am so happy with the result.
The caged bird is die cut out of Grungepaper and coloured with walnut stain distress ink, the square background is a white 6 x 6 board book cover, stained with wild honey and various inks. A mix of stamp sets created the bakground patterns. All in all it was great fun.
Hope you like it. If you want to see the real thing, call in to the shop as it's on display. :)
